Gerard Murphy graduated from the Violin Making and Restoration Department of the The London Guildhall University. Gerard has a wealth of experience and is renowned for his attention to detail, love for luxurious materials and passion for the violin.
Current projects are the making of exact copies of two Joseph Guarneri violins for over seas clients, the restoration of two Italian violins circa 1735 and 1717 respectively and a copy of a Vuillaume Cello.
For exact copies or just new instruments made to specification there is a waiting period of about six months.
